Eastern Illinois University Honors Transfer Student Scholarship

Scholarship Amount: $2500

Scholarship Background: The Honors Transfer Student Scholarship is a competitive award for new EIU students who have been enrolled in an honors program at a post-secondary institution before attending Eastern.

Criteria:

• Must have earned a cumulative 3.5 GPA for at least 18 credits worth of courses from their original post-secondary institution or have been part of that institution’s honor program
• Must intend to participate in either the University Honors Program or a Departmental Honors Program administered by the Pine Honors College at Eastern Illinois University
• Have membership in Phi Theta Kappa or the National Technical Honor Society
• Student must be participating successfully in en EIU honors program and achieve an EIU cumulative 3.4 GPA to continue receiving the award
