Board of Trustees G.E.D. Scholarship - Application Opens February 1st for Fall

SCHOLARSHIP AMOUNT:
Covers up to 12 credit hours of in-district tuition (no lab fees) which must be used within one academic year ( Sept 1- June 30).

REQUIREMENTS:

  • You must pass the High school Equivalency Exam
  • You must submit your official certificate or other proof of passing the four sections of the GED exam in this current fiscal year
  • Submit a letter of recommendation from an instructor
  • An essay of no more than 1000 words is required – see topic below
  • You will also be required to interview with the scholarship committee and participate in the graduation ceremony
  • Scholarship must be used within the academic year (Sept. 1-June 30)

This scholarship will begin accepting applications on February 1st. Please mark your calendars to apply during the specified application period.
