Eugenia Pawlik Zeitlin - Future Teachers Scholarship/Triton College Foundation - Application Opens April 15th for Fall

SCHOLARSHIP AMOUNT: Varies

BACKGROUND: The Eugenia Pawlik Zeitlin Future Teachers Scholarship was created in 1989 and named for the wife of Triton College’s first president, Herbert Zeitlin. Mrs. Zeitlin was a teacher and librarian for many years. She was named in the “Who’s Who in Polish America” first edition in 1996.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Part-time or full-time student
• G.P.A. of 2.00 in senior year of high school or at Triton College
• Must come from a family of two or more children
• An essay is required – see topic below
• Must select “Teaching” as a major
• Must live in either Melrose Park, River Forest, or River Grove
• Recipient must be prepared to send a statement of accomplishments at Triton College to Mrs. Zeitlin at the end of the semester

This scholarship will begin accepting applications on April 15th. Please mark your calendars to apply during the specified application period.
