Grand Chamber by O'Hare Scholarship

The Grand Corridor Chamber of Commerce is excited to offer three one-time (non-renewable) $500 scholarships through the Triton College Foundation for the 2021-2022 school year to deserving applicants who exhibit strong community involvement. Applications are being accepted now through March 31, 2021. This scholarship will be awarded at one of our spring or summer chamber functions (to be determined).

Eligibility Requirements

• Applicant must be a U.S. citizen and a permanent resident currently exhibiting (or has in the past) community involvement in Leyden Township or bordering Chicago
  neighborhoods of Leyden Township. (e.g., Mont Clare, Belmont Heights and Galewood).

• Applicant must be a new or current student enrolled full- or part- time at Triton College.

• Scholarship must be used for Triton College tuition expenses.

Application Requirements

• Two references.

• A double spaced 300 word (or less) essay on your community involvement and how it personally affected you and guided you toward your career path.

• List of activities, including your volunteer/community service.

Incomplete applications will not be reviewed.
